8gow House Way The House Way is how the dealer arranges their own hand. It can vary from place to place the differences are marginal. 1. No pair : Place the highest card in the five-card hand and the next two highest cards in the two-card hand. 2. One pair : Place the pair in the five-card hand and the next two highest cards in the two-card hand. 3. Two pair : Split. Place high pair in the five-card hand and the low pair in the two-card hand. 4. Three pair : Always place the highest pair in the two-card hand and the next two pairs in the five-card hand. 5. Three of a kind : Always place three of a kind in the five-card hand and next two highest cards in the two-card hand. 6. Three of a kind twice : Always place the highest pair in the two-card hand. 7. Straights, flushes, straight flushes, and royal flush : ** With no pair : When choosing whether to play a straight, flush, or straight flush play the category which will allow the highest two cards in the two-card hand. ** With 6th or 7th card : Play the lower straight or flush in the five-card hand to place the highest cards in the two-card hand. ** With one pair : Play pair in the two-card hand only if a straight, flush, or straight flush can be played in the five-card hand. 8. Full house : Always split unless the pair is twos. ** Full house with three of a kind and two pairs : Play the highest pair in the two-card hand. 9. Four of a kind : ** With no pair : Place four of a kind in the five-card hand and the next two highest cards in the two-card hand. ** With a pair : Place four of a kind in the five-card hand and place pair in the two-card hand. ** With three of a kind : Place the highest pair in the two-card hand from any kind. 10.
